The Motronic engine management system included with the twinspark engine handles the timing of both distributors, though both distributors need to be set-up properly in order to the system to fire properly.

Each of the two distributors includes a mark on the body of the distributor, put the car in 5th gear, insert a long screwdriver into the fist cylinder and rock the car until you are sure the #1 piston is at TDC. Once at TDC, loosen each of the distributors and align the rotor of the distributors 5mm clockwise from the mark on the body of the distributor. You only need to get close, the ECU handles the actual timing of the spark, so you only need to set the distributors so that they will deliver the spark.

NOTE: The TS ignition systems packs a lot of voltage, be very careful when servicing the system.
